Map Timescale Information

Knowledge timescales show when knowledge is required over the lifetime of a project. The main map reflects the knowledge needed during the project and the timescales show when knowledge areas and items are required during the project.

Timescales Information is Unavailable

This is either because the 'Show When Needed' view was not selected when the web site was exported OR because timescales data has not been added to the map.

Timescales data (when needed) allows you to select when a knowledge item is required during the lifetime of the project.
The option to do this for any selected node is in the 'EDIT' - 'EDIT Timeframes' menu.

Usually all of the nodes (except for the top map focus node) are assigned timeframes.
The tool will typically assign a timeframe to all prerequisite knowledge so it is best to start at the top of the map.
